His hands ARE steady as he takes one of the knives to cut the remnants of the heart out, but he doesn't say anything because his voice wouldn't be. ]
Charon removes whatever portions are obviously free and clear from both glass and plant damage to use, again wanting to risk Mirror's puppeting as little as possible. his hands are also very steady, though it does save them both that real surgical skill and precision aren't super needed here.
he'll leave putting the new heart in to Minuet and prep the new eyes, partially shielding the view of that fun activity from Minuet with his back. limbus is so useful! it is also so gross!]

makes as quick work of it as he can, while still being careful. closes Styx's eyelids over the new ones and pours his last vial of tears over them in a straight line, watching them run down his face]
[might take a sec for him to settle in and y'know, new heart to get going again, but then there's a twitch, a struggling desperate gasp for breath, and then a bit of a choking cough because y'know. sometimes the last thing you consciously remember is getting skewered and chest exploded.]
