His hands ARE steady as he takes one of the knives to cut the remnants of the heart out, but he doesn't say anything because his voice wouldn't be. ]
Charon removes whatever portions are obviously free and clear from both glass and plant damage to use, again wanting to risk Mirror's puppeting as little as possible. his hands are also very steady, though it does save them both that real surgical skill and precision aren't super needed here.

[might take a sec for him to settle in and y'know, new heart to get going again, but then there's a twitch, a struggling desperate gasp for breath, and then a bit of a choking cough because y'know. sometimes the last thing you consciously remember is getting skewered and chest exploded.]
[he is hiding the blood and damage to his clothes still actually but sometimes 'fucked up' is still evident in body language; Styx has seen him on his last legs more than Minuet has.
You should both head to Minuet's room; it's cold here. I can bring you some things to clean up before I head back, and tell Lily not to bother you for a bit.
