Well, it would come if we simply dripped our blood on the ground with intent, I'm sure, or perhaps used some remnant of it as a catalyst. But we might as well see if safeguards even work, here.
[he's just very businesslike about drawing blood from the meat of Minuet's palm, and from a reopened ritual scar in his own, letting it intermingle in a small bowl he brought with them]
Well, you have the better vision. I'll draw the ritual circle and rune; you make sure the blood is in all of the marks and symbols, with no gaps, and leave the rune for last. It's harder to tell when it's in dirt.
[nods to him and proceeds to draw SOME kind of complicated-ass closed ritual circle in the dirt, with the Inner Feelings Demon's rune in the center. it takes a sec but he's precise enough about it to indicate prior practice]
If this works as intended, it will contain its influence to the circle, and to any other beings within. We might as well stay inside it, though; it's being called with our blood, so it will have a claim on us regardless.
[sighs, finishing up the last arcane symbol with the stick he's using; he'll wait to close the central rune until Minuet's also gotten there with the blood]
My own soul is already bound, which should normally be proof against another demon, but I have no idea if the pasture can supercede that somehow.
[At first, nothing happens. It's all very anticlimatic.
But then, the blood begins to seep into the rune, as if being drank up. The surrounding area gets pulled in too, moisture from nearby grass, making it go brown and yellow, and any surrounding snow is sucked in as well. Mysteriously, as characteristic with most rituals, the sky *doesn't* briefly turn red. . .
But just as all the blood and moisture is sucked in, the rune glows and SOMETHING rises out of it--]
[it's hard to tell due to the...snow...but this seems to be the same tree Blossom summoned all those weeks ago. Huh.]
A while back, Blossom summoned you for an activity where we gave each other stickers that showed something we were secretly feeling. Once that was over, we got these glowing stars . . .
[evenight 45]
Was there anything else you wanted to call on this one for, other than information...?
Re: [evenight 45]
Re: [evenight 45]
[nodding at Minuet's real hand]
Glove off, please.
Re: [evenight 45]
You got a pretty good idea of how to do this?

How's your draftsmanship?
Re: [evenight 45]
Uhhhhh....
Not too horrible?
Re: [evenight 45]
[heals 'em up and then hands him the bowl]

Re: [evenight 45]
You got it, boss.

Re: [evenight 45]
What does "claim on us" even mean...
Re: [evenight 45]
No matter what you do, don't swear yourself to it beyond the bounds of a single ritual.

Re: [evenight 45]
[ He's filling in everything but the rune first, as instructed. ]
Re: [evenight 45]
[RESIGNED THOUGH...why does everyone he like love to meddle as hard as he does]
Re: [evenight 45]
[ He stops where Charon left off, waiting for him to add the final divot to close the rune. ]
Re: [evenight 45]
[another, deeper sigh]
Should you destroy his Rune, that would be an acceptable mutual solution.
[and he draws the final line.]
Re: [evenight 45]
[ Aaaand, he fills in the last of the blood. ]

Oh? You are not the priestess.
Re: [evenight 45]
...no. We are both shepherds, come to call on you for what you might know of this pasture.
Re: [evenight 45]
I'm Minuet.
[ points ]
That's Charon.
Re: [evenight 45]
I see, you are the shepherds of Lily and Bluebell. Your hearts spill over with too many emotions for most mortals to comprehend.
Why did you summon me?
Re: [evenight 45]

[ He pulls his out, holding it up ]
Do you remember that?
