a hand reaches around the door. it's...a pretty normal hand, all things considered. black-gloved like Charon's typically are, black sleeve, white cuff. but there's a stink of blood that comes with it, rolling and intense]

[the blood smeared across his brow burns. not literally, not painfully, but the sensation is still very intense.

blood is also all he can smell, so strong it's like he's submerged in a sea of it.
