He said they were going soon, after they sent that mass message last night.
They negotiated with the bomb demon for a controllable trigger and a revival; they're going to take a statue and use themselves to hopefully kill the ram demon.
Perci and I are backup if they need more revival, but we don't need to leave the pasture for that.
[his shoulders hunch a little in response, then relax again]
If we do call the inner feelings demon, maybe we should bargain with it at the end. Put everyone in the pasture to sleep for a week. One week of no trouble. Surely that's not too much to ask.
[that did seem to lose some tension; he leans back in the chair fully.]
Absolutely absurd, though. I don't think much can top 'the day after two men accosted me in the library and had a talk about relationships, we all perished.'

Re: [day 26]
[SLIGHT RETCON DUE TO SIMULTANEOUS THREADS, but]
Thistle tomorrow; Angel Devil the day after, apparently.
Re: [day 26]
Wait, what??
Re: [day 26]
Did Lupin not tell you they were going to the ram demon's cave soon?

Re: [day 26]
I--
No. Nevermind.
Re: [day 26]

he does folds his arms and put his head down into them. just ends up doing the longest most tired sigh in the world instead of laughing, though]

Re: [day 26]
[ .............. maybe they could ask Teleute. She DOES crave oblivion for everyone-- ]
Re: [day 26]
it does finally get a laugh out of him, kind of hoarse and sharp]
We haven't even had a chance to talk about what happened literally yesterday. Or the day before, or the day before.
Re: [day 26]
[ Sounds vaguely surprised, like. Do we just . . . talk about things? With mouthwords? ]
I'm free until the next person calls me about something insane.
Re: [day 26]
"A gun's super fuckin' loud. But nothin's louder than the inside of yer own head, except when ya talk. Your voice can sometimes be louder."]
It might help?
Re: [day 26]
. . . Alright.
[ Closes the notebook and pushes it aside ]
I'll make tea, then.
Re: [day 26]
Thanks.
Re: [day 26]
He returns with two cups of Sonata's calming tea. They might need it.
Drops back into his seat. ]
So . . .
Re: [day 26]
his shoulders shake. this laugh's a less pained more confused noise, but just as brief]
I believe this is what is commonly referred to as "a wild ride."
Re: [day 26]
It hasn't been all bad, at least.

Two?
Re: [day 26]
I think he is waiting for me to tell him yes or no.
1/
Should he throw Perci under the bus? Perci deserves the world. But also-- ]
Re: [day 26]
3/3
Y'know what he told me just yesterday? He said he was sure he's "too stupid" for you.
